Ivan Harshman was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and has been focused on music since the age of fourteen. His early ventures into the local Toledo music scene included stints with bands such as The Kind, with whom he toured the Great Lakes Region in 1995.
Ivan moved to Arizona in 1996, where he collaborated with good friend and fellow songwriter Pete Thelen. Their song “Heal TV” received industry accolades and has enjoyed radio airplay on three continents.
Ivan has shared the bill with such acts as David Crosby, Little Feat, Delbert McClinton, Cake, Poe, Better than Ezra, Sugar Ray, Gavin DeGraw, The Samples, The Gin Blossoms, Ian Moore, Keb’ Mo’, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, and The Zombies.
Fresh off two U.S. tours in 2003-2004, Ivan is currently working on his new album “Foghorn Hush”, due out in Fall ’07. |
